Hi, I'm Cheryl West.  My kennel name is Castle Samoyeds.  My husband, Frank, and I share our home with our Samoyeds and our cats.

While I live in Florida, I am originally from Pennsylvania.  I have been involved in Samoyeds for 25 years.  I have done conformation, obedience, sheep herding, therapy work, and in my younger days up North, even dabbled with weight pulling and sled racing.  I am considering doing some agility but right now, I want to train Skye to the next level of sheep herding.

I have been a member of the Samoyed Club of America, Inc. in good standing since 1982, of the Samoyed Fanciers of Central Florida, Inc. since they were formed in 1995, and of the Seminole Dog Fanciers Association, Inc. since 1983.  While I lived in Pittsburgh, I helped to start the Greater Pittsburgh Samoyed Club.
